Q: Does it cost extra to add a filling?
A: No. All of our cakes include a filling at no additional cost; it’s part of the experience. We believe every cake should be as flavorful and luxurious on the inside as it is beautiful on the outside.

Q: Are the designs shown in the “Order Online” section the only options available?
A: Not at all. Those designs represent a selection of cakes we can create quickly and without the need for special-order toppers or extensive customization. If you’re looking for something more personalized, we’re delighted to craft a fully custom design tailored to your vision.

Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
A: Absolutely. Because everything we make is crafted from scratch, we can often adjust our recipes to meet a wide range of dietary needs. Just let us know your allergy or restriction along with the flavors you’re interested in. We’ll confirm whether we can accommodate your selection or provide an elevated alternative that still delivers exceptional flavor and quality.

Q: How far in advance should I place my order?
A: We recommend reserving your date as early as possible, as our calendar fills quickly. For custom cakes and specialty items, we suggest booking 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure we can dedicate the time and attention your order deserves.

Q: Do you deliver?
A: Absolutely. We offer white-glove delivery and professional setup for wedding cakes and select custom orders. Delivery fees are determined by distance and venue requirements.

If you select Delivery from our "Order Online" section, delivery will be handled through a courier.

Q: Why do you close at 2pm during the week?
A: At Hey Honey Cakery, we’re a family-centered bakery and value giving our team meaningful time with their loved ones each evening. Closing at 2pm allows us to maintain this balance while dedicating focused hours to craft the exquisite, custom creations we’re known for. For your convenience, we’re always happy to arrange after-hours pickups by request.

Q: Are the photos of cakes shown on your website and in the bakery your work?
A: Absolutely! All photos feature cakes we’ve created, captured by professional photographers at our clients’ events. Each image reflects the care, artistry, and attention to detail that goes into every Hey Honey Cakery creation.

Q: Do you offer tastings for wedding cakes?
A: Yes! We offer three distinct tasting options, ensuring there’s a perfect experience for every couple. Tastings can be conveniently booked through our website, giving you the opportunity to explore flavors and finalize your ideal combination/s.

Q: Why do you charge for cake tastings?
A: Our cake tastings are an elevated, curated experience designed to showcase the full quality and flavor of our creations. The tasting fee ensures we can dedicate the time, ingredients, and attention to detail required to make the experience truly special; the fee is applied toward your order if you decide to move forward with our Elite Service package.

Q: How does the custom design process work?
A: Once we receive your inspiration photos, event details, and preferred aesthetic, we begin crafting a design that is uniquely yours. Every element — from flavor to finish — is tailored to create a stunning, memorable centerpiece that reflects your personal style. For those who would like a custom sketch of their cake design, we can provide one for an additional fee to account for the time and artistry involved in creating the detailed rendering.

​Q: What if I just want a simple cake with no "fancy" design?
A: If you prefer a classic, simple cake without intricate design elements, no design fee is added. We’re happy to create a beautiful, delicious cake for any occasion! We typically consider this as "Decorate as Flavor" or "Traditionally Frosted"
